San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward revealed Tuesday that his 1-year-old daughter handed away. No explanation for loss of life was given.
Ward’s daughter, Amani Joi Ward, was born untimely with Down syndrome and had open-heart-surgery on April 11 of final 12 months.
“We’re heartbroken that our stunning child woman, Amani Pleasure handed away on Monday morning,” Ward wrote on Instagram. “She was one of the best blessing we may have requested for, and her joyous spirit made us smile from ear to ear. She taught us to have persistence, belief, and a optimistic outlook on life.
“She confirmed us true power and bravado. She overcame adversity at a younger age and was all the time joyful, lighting up each room along with her smile.”
The 49ers (4-4) are on their bye week.
Ward, 28, is in his seventh NFL season and third with the 49ers after taking part in 4 seasons with the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs. He went undrafted out of Center Tennessee State.
