Alpine is the most recent System 1 crew to land a film deal because it promotes the discharge of Hollywood movie Deadpool & Wolverine with a one-off livery for this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix.
Alpine’s A524 vehicles will race in a pink, black and yellow livery showcasing principal characters Deadpool and Wolverine for the Marvel film which is ready for a worldwide launch over the Belgian Grand Prix weekend.
The crew’s drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly and their mechanics will put on race overalls in Deadpool’s darkish pink hue. Ocon will even use Deadpool graphics on his pink helmet, whereas Gasly will take inspiration from Wolverine for a yellow and black helmet design.
Alpine’s Marvel Studios tie-up is not any accident as Ryan Reynolds, who performs title character Deadpool, is a minority investor within the crew.
