The Los Angeles Lakers will honor Jerry West’s No. 44 this season, the workforce introduced on Wednesday.
The Lakers will put on a No. 44 band on the left shoulder of their jersey all through the season.
West, who performed all 14 years of his NBA profession for the Lakers, handed away in June on the age of 86.
The workforce can even honor West with a jersey giveaway on opening night time.
