The New York Giants have begun trying to find their subsequent defensive coordinator following their break up with Wink Martindale. In response to Ian Rapoport of NFL Community, the Giants not too long ago interviewed Ravens secondary coach Dennard Wilson for his or her defensive coordinator opening.
Wilson has been a coach within the NFL since 2012, spending time with the Rams, Jets and Eagles earlier than taking up because the Ravens’ defensive backs coach in 2023. He was the Eagles’ passing sport coordinator and DBs coach the 12 months prior, and likewise coached the secondary in Philadelphia in 2021.
Wilson, 41, is from Maryland and was a defensive again for the Terrapins from 200-2003.
