The NFL suspended Arizona Cardinals large receiver Zay Jones for 5 video games on Friday for violating the league’s private conduct coverage.
Jones, 29, must sit out the season’s first 5 video games with out pay and will probably be eligible to return for a Week 6 recreation at Inexperienced Bay on Oct. 13.
Jones was arrested final November and charged with misdemeanor home battery inflicting bodily hurt following an alleged altercation with the mom of his youngster. Florida prosecutors dropped the case in March.
He caught 34 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns in 9 video games (seven begins) with the Jacksonville Jaguars final season.
