The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired pitching depth prematurely of their 2025 season opener, touchdown right-hander Noah Davis from the Boston Crimson Sox for money concerns.

With the Dodgers’ 26-man roster already set for Thursday’s season opener at house towards the Detroit Tigers, Davis will open the season at Triple-A Oklahoma Metropolis.

To open a spot on the 40-man roster for Los Angeles, right-hander Emmet Sheehan (Tommy John) was transferred to the 60-day IL.

Davis, 27, has 18 video games of main league expertise (six begins), all with the Colorado Rockies over the earlier three seasons. He has an 0-4 report with a 7.71 ERA in 51 1/3 innings.
