Donnie Nelson Lawsuit Towards Mavs To Go To Trial On December 10

Donnie Nelson’s wrongful termination lawsuit towards the Dallas Mavericks will go to trial on December 10.

Within the lawsuit, Nelson claims that he was fired by the Mavs in retaliation for reporting that Mark Cuban’s “right-hand individual” allegedly sexually assaulted Nelson’s nephew throughout 2020 All-Star Weekend.

Nelson provides that the Mavs rapidly settled the nephew’s claims to “sweep [the allegations] beneath the rug.”

Nelson claims that he was in the midst of a contract negotiation when he reported the assault to Cuban.

Nelson was fired in June 2021.
