Dre Greenlaw hurts self, dominated out of remainder of Tremendous Bowl LVIII

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been formally dominated out for the remainder of Tremendous Bowl LVIII with an Achilles damage, in response to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Greenlaw was carted off the sector after struggling a non-contact damage throughout the second quarter. The 49ers linebacker was jogging onto the sector when he was caught on video falling to the turf. Greenlaw was taken to the blue medical tent and carted off shortly thereafter.

The fifth-year linebacker completed the sport with three mixed tackles. Greenlaw is a large loss for the 49ers’ protection, masking the center of the sector alongside Fred Warner. He completed the 2023 common season with 120 mixed tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 4 passes defensed with a pair of interceptions throughout San Francisco’s playoff run.

The 49ers led the Chiefs, 10-3, at halftime.

San Francisco took Greenlaw out of Arkansas within the fifth spherical of the 2019 NFL Draft. The 26-year-old had a mixed 15 complete tackles throughout the 49ers’ Divisional Spherical and NFC Championship victories over the Inexperienced Bay Packers and Detroit Lions, respectively.

The 6-foot, 230-pounder had 4 complete tackles in Tremendous Bowl LIV, when the Niners and Chiefs beforehand met within the Massive Sport.
