Workforce India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has damaged his silence on leaving Delhi Capitals (DC) forward of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega public sale. Rishabh Pant fired again at legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, who accused him of asking for extra money to be retained for the IPL 2025 season.
Pant was not retained by Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025, regardless of being with the franchise since 2016. Forward of the IPL 2025 mega public sale, Delhi retained solely 4 gamers – Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs, and Abishek Porel. The Capitals have ₹73 crore remaining of their purse for the IPL public sale.
My Retention Wasn’t About The Cash – Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant clarified that his non-retention by Delhi Capitals was not associated to cash. His assertion suggests a possible rift between him and the franchise house owners concerning his position within the workforce and training workers.
“My retention wasn’t concerning the cash for certain that I can say,” Pant wrote on X (formelry often called Twitter).
