Jamal Murray’s capturing effectivity reverted to Sport 2 type, Michael Porter Jr. was held to single-digit scoring for a 3rd consecutive sport and the Nuggets had been crushed, 115-70, by the Timberwolves in a possible close-out Sport 6 on Thursday evening. It set a brand new franchise low in playoff single-game scoring.
Anthony Edwards bounced again with 27 factors and three steals. Jaden McDaniels equipped 21 factors on 10 photographs as Denver gave him the Aaron Gordon remedy, residing along with his photographs. And the 2 Minnesota wings mixed to quiet the Nuggets’ second and third choices on the defensive finish. Murray shot 4 for 18, totaling 10 factors. Porter scored eight on 3-of-9 capturing.
Nikola Jokic’s 22 factors weren’t sufficient to beat the shortage of supporting offense. He registered solely two assists, matching a season low (at Minnesota in March).
