Victor Wembanyama missed the San Antonio Spurs’ 140-113 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Friday because of low again soreness.
Wembanyama is taken into account day-to-day with the damage.
Wembanyama appeared to have suffered the damage on Tuesday evening towards the Suns when he was whistled for a cost towards Bradley Beal.
“I do not suppose [the injury] was on a sure play. I am positive that play did not assist. However I do not suppose it was one specific play,” stated Mitch Johnson.
Johnson is hopeful that Wembanyama may return on Sunday.
